In order to become a user of the Keck Electron Microscopy Laboratory, please complete the appropriate form by either filling it out online or downloading it to your computer:

In addition, it is recommended that you contact the director of the Lab, Sam Gido, explaining the nature of your research in order to find the best approach to analyze your samples. We can either train you to use our equipment or our staff members will perform work for you.

 

All users must follow the Lab policy:

1. Training on any equipment in the Lab must be performed by the staff      members only. Only trained users can operate the microscopes and
     sample preparation equipment unattended. We allow weekend and night  
     use of the equipment only for experienced users.
2. All users must follow proper lab safety procedures and keep the Lab
     clean. No food or drinks should be brought into the Lab.
3. All users must follow the instrument reservation policy that can be      downloaded here.
4. Users who violate the Lab policy will be banned from using the facility.
